5 Spinebill Ave Burleigh Waters
5 Spinebill Ave was a major renovation project, taking a contemporary single story 1990’s style 3 bedroom Gold Coast home on a 665 Sqm block, and turning it into a stunning 6 bedroom modern looking home.
Brad and his wife Beth purchased 5 Spinebill Ave, Burleigh Waters in April 2014.
The existing home was 120m2 in size and with Castle Construction adding a new 165m2 it more than doubled in size.
The 3 bedroom home went from being the ‘worst house on the best street’, to the ‘best house on the best street’ after undergoing a stunning major renovation from Castle Construction. Working with their own architect plans were drafted to:
Brad works for a large building contractor and used his own architect to design and draft plans for the new home. Following just one meeting with Greg from Castle Construction Brad knew immediately that he had found the perfect builder for his project.
On the original drawings the architect had planned to remove a number of areas from the house and throughout the construction phase Castle came up with a number of suggestions that delivered a better look, better use of the space and in the process saved considerable amounts from the original budget.
Work on the major renovation commenced in July 2017 and Castle developed a project plan that would allow Brad and his family to continue living in their home throughout the building works. With 3 young children extra care was made with safety, tidiness and security.
With the home more than doubling in size and all areas of the existing home being upgraded the project took a total of 24 weeks to complete.
The end result was a stunning transformation and the Brad & Beth could not have been any happier with the finished result. Nothing was ever too much trouble for Castle, the project was finished on-time, under budget and to an exceptional high level of quality workmanship.
