At Castle Construction we believe your home is your Castle. We have established a reputation for delivering high-quality projects and exceeding client expectations. This combination has led us to be one of the most respected building companies on the Gold Coast. New homes, home additions/extensions, renovations, house raising, fit outs as well as significant hotel, commercial and factory refurbishments are among our growing project portfolio. While we have diverse experience in the industry, we would openly say that our speciality is medium to large house additions and renovations.
One of the most important parts of what we do is the relationships we build with our clients. Building strong rapport and relationships enables us to fully understand a client’s requirements and how we can best tailor our services. Greg has been in building industry for over thirty years and has a wealth of knowledge. Starting his career as a City & Guilds carpenter and joiner, Greg later progressed to site supervision over multi-million-dollar projects throughout the London area.
Greg had travelled and worked in Australia on a gap year in 1994 and loved the country, climate, surf and people and finally emigrated in 2004 with his family. Within three years, Greg obtained his Australian carpentry licence and builders’ licence through Master Builders and established Castle Construction in 2007. Now, nearly 20 years on, Greg still harbours a deep passion for forming strong client relationships and delivering high quality work with Castle Construction.
Generating hundreds of happy clients over the years has put Castle in the fortunate position where most of their work comes through recommendations or previous clients coming back for new projects. That said, we’re always excited to meet new clients and see if we can assist them with their building requirements.
Over the last few years and looking into the future Castle Construction have scaled back the quantity of projects they undertake each year to allow them to focus on quality not quantity. This allows Greg, as the project manager, to spend more time with clients and carry out on-site supervision as well as off-site management. Greg also assists his tight-knit team of high-quality tradesmen that it has taken many years to develop. Greg and his team of Castle construction have completed an excellent job on our house renovation. We cannot speak highly enough of Greg, continually achieving a high level of quality and demonstrating a high level of professionalism. Greg was easy to deal with and down to earth through the whole process. Communication throughout the renovation was excellent. He was extremely thorough, explaining every step and answering all our questions along the way.
Greg was accommodating when hurdles came up and worked around them with ease. He also had awesome ideas and alternatives to our design which incredibly improved our house layout and design. The end result was better than we could imagine and we could not be happier.
Even after the renovation, Greg offered us to help with any issues we might come across once we moved in. I employed Castle Construction based on the positive reviews and the reasonable price quoted for the work. From the outset at the initial quoting I was impressed with Greg’s professionalism and attention to detail.
The quote provided was comprehensive and set out each stage of the work. I had a mezzanine floor and office constructed in my house along with an additional door fitted in the hallway. Greg’s team was punctual, professional and obviously took pride in their work. Throughout the process I was kept fully informed on progress. A couple of additions I required after work commenced presented no problems at all with a slight variation to the price.

My Wife & I had the good fortune to hire Greg Rice as the principle builder for our home in Broadbeach Waters.
