About Us

Greg has been in building industry for over thirty years and has a wealth of knowledge. Starting his career as a City & Guilds carpenter and joiner, Greg later progressed to site supervision over multi-million-dollar projects throughout the London area.

Greg had travelled and worked in Australia on a gap year in 1994 and loved the country, climate, surf and people and finally emigrated in 2004 with his family. Within three years, Greg obtained his Australian carpentry licence and builders’ licence through Master Builders and established Castle Construction in 2007. Now, nearly 20 years on, Greg still harbours a deep passion for forming strong client relationships and delivering high quality work with Castle Construction.

Over the last few years and looking into the future Castle Construction have scaled back the quantity of projects they undertake each year to allow them to focus on quality not quantity. This allows Greg, as the project manager, to spend more time with clients and carry out on-site supervision as well as off-site management. Greg also assists his tight-knit team of high-quality tradesmen that it has taken many years to develop. If you’re looking for a builder that you’ll have regular contact with during your project and beyond, we encourage you to reach out to Greg and the team at Castle Construction today.

10/10 - With thanks to the team at Castle Construction. You recently completed our renovation and we could not be happier with the end result and the experience from start to finish. Greg, Sam and Nick we are thrilled with our ‘castle’. Without any hesitation, we absolutely recommend Castle Construction.

After much research you made our shortlist of potential builders for the job, and we feel lucky that we made the right decision and chose your business.

For us, this was the renovation of a lifetime. Replacing the roof, safely removing all asbestos from our 1950’s beach shack, completely transforming the entrance, flooding the dark lounge room with light and height by raising the ceiling, making the master bedroom brand new and adding a beautiful and modern en-suite. The transformation is unbelievable. Thank you for paying attention to my specific requests. You listened when I told you what was important to us and you came back with options and suggestions on how we could make better improvements. Nothing was ever too much trouble and you never balked at any of my questions. Your input was very much appreciated. We are also very happy with all the subcontractors that worked on our house, they were all friendly and professional and did a great job.

Greg and Sam thank you for being so prompt and professional in every instance. We know who to call for our next reno!

To quote my husband, Greg and Sam are two blokes you can trust. If we could give you 10 stars we would.

Greg and his team of Castle construction have completed an excellent job on our house renovation. We cannot speak highly enough of Greg, continually achieving a high level of quality and demonstrating a high level of professionalism. Greg was easy to deal with and down to earth through the whole process. Communication throughout the renovation was excellent. He was extremely thorough, explaining every step and answering all our questions along the way. Greg was accommodating when hurdles came up and worked around them with ease. He also had awesome ideas and alternatives to our design which incredibly improved our house layout and design. The end result was better than we could imagine and we could not be happier. Even after the renovation, Greg offered us to help with any issues we might come across once we moved in. We are so glad to say that we did not have a single thing we need to fix after moving in for 3 months. We are enjoying every little detail and just can’t stop admiring his high quality of work everyday.
We look forward to working with Greg again on the next stage of our exterior renovation and would highly recommend Greg and his team at Castle Construction.

I would highly recommend Greg and the team at Castle Constructions.
Greg is genuine with great communication skills.

Our renovation/extension was a sizeable & challenging endeavour, Greg managed this well.

Castle improved our architects design by raising a massive beam into the ceiling void, eliminating a low & obtrusive bulkhead. Greg made handy suggestions along the way that were logical & cost efficient.

Greg is a true local and has the ability to source high end materials at a better price.
From start to completion Greg & the team at Castle were easy to work
with.
Quality work and an eye for detail, we couldn't be happier with our finished product.

Our home has been transformed into a fantastic & unique living space.
Would absolutely use again and recommend to others.

Thank you Greg & the boys.

I employed Castle Construction based on the positive reviews and the reasonable price quoted for the work. From the outset at the initial quoting I was impressed with Greg's professionalism and attention to detail. The quote provided was comprehensive and set out each stage of the work. I had a mezzanine floor and office constructed in my house along with an additional door fitted in the hallway. Greg's team was punctual, professional and obviously took pride in their work. Throughout the process I was kept fully informed on progress. A couple of additions I required after work commenced presented no problems at all with a slight variation to the price. Greg and his team always turned up on time and the whole process just seemed to be unobtrusive and completely under control. I am thrilled with the end product and would without hesitation recommend Greg and his team to anybody planning any sort of renovation work.

We asked Castle Construction to quote for a house extension and from the moment I started speaking with this company I knew it was going to be a positive experience. We asked 5 builders to quote, Greg was the only builder we wanted to use, he was on time, on price and full of can do enthusiasm – let’s just say the other builders weren’t like this.

The team at Castle Construction were so professional, they were tidy, respectful of our home and considerate throughout the whole project as I work from home. The advice they provided was invaluable, they saved us time and money and offered recommendations on what would look nice, how we could save money and really knew what they were talking about - the end result is awesome and we couldn’t be happier. The whole experience has been easy, stress free and professional. If you are looking to get any building works done – big or small we would recommend you contacting Greg and the team at Castle Construction today for a quote – we are not just satisfied with the building work that was provided we completely trust Greg and the team at Castle Construction – you can’t buy trust, it’s has to be earn't. Great Job Guys, Thank you so much.
